Business Analyst (Regulatory)

What does a successful Business Analyst do? A successful Business Analyst at Fiserv ensures that business operations adhere to relevant laws and regulations, leveraging their detailed expertise in regulatory compliance. They play a crucial role in evaluating, monitoring, and strategizing compliance measures to align with business goals while mitigating risks. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements to stakeholders at all levels.

What you will do:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of regulatory requirements and compliance standards to align business operations with legal frameworks.
  • Develop and implement strategies for ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive compliance reports to senior management.
  • Provide guidance and support on regulatory compliance to business units.
  • Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures regularly.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Work with development teams on the design and implementation of requirements.
  • Validate and test applications to ensure they comply with regulatory requirements.

What you will need to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in regulatory monitoring and compliance within a business environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in requirements analysis.
  • 10+ years of experience working with core banking functionality.
  • 10+ years of experience developing business requirements and functional requirements.
  • 10+ years of experience in testing applications for compliance with regulatory requirements.

What would be great to have:

  • 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of technology principles, including APIs, JSON, and Postman.

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
