Network Installation/Maintenance Specialist 3

Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, configure, and improve network and telecommunications equipment. Perform all life cycle support: hardware, software, firmware, and configuration upgrades or modifications to currently installed network equipment. Assist Network Operations personnel in Tier 1 fault management efforts, troubleshoot and repair or replace all failed network devices. Responsible for the escalation of outages and performance problems for Tier 2 support.

Capabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain customer networks including infrastructure.  
• Work as part of an engineering team comprised of approximately 10 personnel, each with specific tasking.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in plus 2 years of relevant experience, or High School diploma/GED plus 6 years (Degree must be in Networking, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field).
• Relevant experience must be in the installation or maintenance of network or telecommunications equipment and/or using specialized test equipment and network analysis tools (e.g., network management software, data analyzers, BERTS and OTDR). Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and A+ certificates are preferred.​
