[What the role is]

Senior Geomatics Manager (Expansion of N3DMP – In-house Capabilities)

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of a team responsible in managing various types of high quality 2D and 3D mapping data (e.g. aerial imagery, point clouds, 3D digital city models, etc.) from the National 3D Mapping Programme. You will be responsible in (a) conducting research different avenues to update various mapping datasets, (b) identifying challenges and uplift internal geospatial and geomatics capabilities, (c) exploring the integration with emerging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), game engine, AI/ML for advanced spatial analysis and decision support, and (d) processing and analysing optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) remote sensing data.

[What we are looking for]

• Background in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Remote Sensing, Geospatial, GIS or any equivalent qualifications conferred by a recognised university.

• Experience and knowledge in Geographic Information System (GIS) and/or Building Information Modelling (BIM)

• Strong understanding of spatial data management, coordinate systems, and map projections.

• Prior experience in LiDAR/laser scanning, Photogrammetry, GNSS, gravity survey.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• 2-4 years working experience in geomatics, geospatial or related job experiences will be preferred. However, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
