We, at NVIDIA are looking for an Automotive Segment Sales Lead for the Global Market. Our employees are passionate about parallel and visual computing. As a key member of the NVIDIA Segment Sales team, you will lead all aspects of the demand planning, supply/build planning and allocation/deliveries for Automotive products.
 

We are seeking a high-energy and expert sales professional with a validated successful track record of leading accounts in the Automotive Industry. This full-time position requires close working relationships with NVIDIA Sales, business development, accounting and operations teams to drive revenue for the company. This role requires a strong knowledge of the Automotive business landscape. This person should have the ability to shift easily from working with senior level executives at customers.
 

What you'll be doing:

  • Forecasting and Revenue Recognition: This is a small team reporting into the worldwide field organization. We design, build and produce reports that help the sales group to make informed sales predictions. As part of a larger team environment, collect this data for basic analytics. Build Data-pipeline of historical BUF/JFF (Bottoms up and Judged Forecasting). This data used by regression and machine learning techniques to forecast revenue and units sold.

  • You will be responsible for global sales forecasting. You will help to define new processes and tools to deliver accurate, reliable and timely forecasts and other data to senior management.

  • Market Intelligence – Analyze and distill competitor disclosures and market signals into succinct reports and actionable competitive strategies, and then deliver to BU leadership, field sales organizations, and campaign marketing teams.

  • Build strong partnerships within Finance and Operations to ensure timely and accurate product cost data, including related product cost analysis and inventory account reconciliations.

  • Customer Pipeline Management: Work with project and product management to define cross-functional requirements, develop and maintain efficient processes, educate colleagues on the feasibility of projects, and work with functional leads to implement process change when needed

  • Work with the engineering team to come up with and handle project & product roadmaps, schedules, and track progress of the development teams. Coordinate release content and efforts with multiple cross-organizational program/engineering managers who own individual components.

  • Communicate with collaborators regularly to handle expectations and to provide project updates on scope, budget, and velocity.

  • Sales Performance Analysis: You will invent the necessary Key Performance Indicators needed to measure and forecast the capacity needs for our data centers.

  • Own yield and efficiency improvement actions and process change decisions based on statistical process control (SPC) data analysis to meet target capacity

  • Collaboration and Communication: Ensure cohesive collaboration between additional cross-functional teams and leads: Customer Program Management, Sales, Finance, Legal, Transportation, Logistics, Trade, Pricing Strategy Enablement, Field and Customer Replacement Operations

What we need to see:

  • BS or University degree (or equivalent experience) plus demonstrated ability in network engineering or operations roles

  • 15+ overall years in automotive or semiconductor industry with a focus on program/project management

  • 10+ years of managing and leading teams

  • Confirmed ability to work effectively in highly matrixed organization.

  • Self-motivating, independent, and committed to getting things done

  • Technical knowledge of NVIDIA products and services.

  • Experience with leading and closing complex deal negotiations and alliances. Knowledge of pricing strategies, channel economics, and negotiation tactics

  • Track record of being a technical leader for sophisticated successful projects, leading from problem to requirements, design, implementation, deployment, and operations
