The Senior Analyst, Debt Capital Markets, reporting to the VP of Debt Asset Management, is responsible for helping to lead all debt asset management functions, assist in the formulation of debt strategy, and manage reporting on ~95 existing loan pools and numerous future financings. A typical year at Link involves billions of dollars of borrowing activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execution of Link���s overall debt and hedging strategy
Help lead transition from origination to Debt Asset Management team and manage financing obligations post-closing, including cash management, reserve or draw requests, loan covenants, and lender reporting.
Manage ongoing lender inquiries across the platform and collaborate with multiple Link teams to review and gather all required information
Support Link’s liquidity processes and manage/build complex debt cash flow models
Extensive coordination with Blackstone’s Debt Capital Markets and Asset Management teams to ensure debt planning and borrowing activities align with BX strategy
Produce regular Link management/BX debt reporting packages
Collaborate with numerous operations and construction teams to manage and ensure timely submission of escrow or construction loan draw requests
Assist in coordination of loan paydowns and property releases in connection with refinancing and asset sales
Help ensure the quality and accessibility of Link’s debt related data, assisting to create and implement technology and debt infrastructure initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 - 3 years of experience (Senior Analyst level), 3 - 5 years of experience (Associate level) with secured debt/mortgage markets and transactions.
Extremely strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
In-depth understanding of real estate fundamentals
Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling
Process management and improvement skills
Bachelor’s Degree required
$100,000 - $115,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
