Position Summary:

• We are seeking a Per Diem Clinical Assistant to join the team within our Boston Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Following established procedures and instructions under regular supervision, and providing basic direct care to patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
• Assisting patients with obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of unit.
• Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems.
• Performing general office support tasks.
• Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
• Working the required shifts: days with rotating weekends and holidays

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 1 year Clinical Assistant experience, or a Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation completed preferred.

Licensure/ Certifications:

• CNA certification or equivalent preferred.
