We are home to the most iconic and beloved Christmas brands of this generation including The Elf on the Shelf, Elf Pets, and Elf Mates. The Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor will play a pivotal role in supporting the SEP-Animation Team, Art, and Marketing by crafting and editing engaging video content. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Storytelling & Marketing Content, this role focuses on editing high-quality assets for various internal and external uses, including promotional videos, social media content, and internal communications.The Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor is responsible for translating creative ideas/scripts into cohesive visual narratives, ensuring that each video aligns with the artistic vision and meets high-quality standards. Key responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to develop and execute video projects, incorporating feedback to refine content, and communicating project schedules effectively. This role requires a strong background in video editing and motion graphics, a keen eye for storytelling and continuity, and proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Premiere and After Effects, Photoshop etc.The Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor will:

This role requires a strong background in video editing and motion graphics, a keen eye for storytelling and continuity, and proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Premiere and After Effects, Photoshop etc.The Video Producer/Motion Graphics Editor will:
- Support the SEP-Animated Team, Art, and Marketing on the creation and/or editing of content for internal/external videos:
- Social/Digital Content
- Internal-facing Content for Meetings/Events
- External-facing Content
- Receive constructive feedback, revise elements according to creative notes, and deliver revisions on time;
- Create and edit assets for use on social media and other marketing initiatives;
- Protect company assets through the proper management of asset files and adherence to company policy with regard to information security and management.
- Work with Sr. Director of Storytelling & Marketing Content, and the Creative Director, Digital Media to manage requests, schedule/track projects, and communicates any conflicting deadlines to prioritize work and meet expectations;
- Track hours in provided weekly Timesheets and works within the agreed upon timeframe/hours; and does not work overtime without written agreement from the Sr. Director of Storytelling and Marketing, Series, and Digital Content.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics; experience with marketing campaigns, entertainment and animated content
- Experience with storytelling, and continuity;
- Experience with 2D and 3D Animation production processes required;
- Knowledge of editing software, such as Premiere and After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other applicable software required, Adobe Animate is a plus;
- Knowledge of audio editing software such as Adobe Audition
- Ability to receive constructive criticism and make artistic adjustments;
- Creative problem-solving skills required;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Must be able to quickly learn the brand and develop a deep understanding of the characters and world;
- Flexibility and adaptable to changing needs;
- The ability to stay organized, punctual, and capable of juggling many tasks at the same time;
- Comfortability asking questions and eager to learn;
- Working well under pressure – rises to the occasion;
- Extensive portfolio with examples of current video editing and motion graphics required
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Mass Communications, or a Related Field preferred.
