The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Attack Program is seeking a dynamic System Safety Engineering Manager (Systems Engineering Management) to manage the Product Integrity / Mission Assurance Team in Mesa, AZ. This individual will be responsible for leading System Safety Engineering team.
Primary responsibilities:
- Oversees the identification, analysis, and assessment of regulatory and contractual compliance of aerospace systems, products and services.
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of System Safety
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Mesa, AZ. Some travel maybe required as business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Experience performing systems engineering activities in full systems engineering lifecycle
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Experience with Avionics and/or System Safety
- Experience with flight avionics design
- Experience with the concepts of Model Based Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital System Modeling

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $141,100 - $190,900
