<p><b>Job Description</b></p><p>Are you interested in delivering impactful contributions to the systems and solutions defining prices to the organization?</p><p>We are on the lookout for our new Senior Software Engineer for the Pricing product team in the Partner & Markets Technology area.</p><p></p><p><i>*Please note that no relocation support is offered for this position*</i></p><p></p><h1><b>Core Responsibilities </b></h1><ul><li><p>Collaborate with Product Owner, Designer, and Software Engineers to deliver both new functionality and iterative improvements to backend services and frontend</p></li><li><p>Establish and drive the adoption of good coding standards</p></li><li><p>Design, build and maintain products using C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, Typescript and AWS cloud services, using IaC for maintenance</p></li><li><p>Maintain and enhance REST and Async APIs in alignment with our community standard processes and guidelines</p></li><li><p>Participate in code reviews with other engineers</p></li><li><p>Focus on sharing knowledge with other engineers</p></li><li><p>Identify and resolve scalability and performance issues</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>Play your part in our team succeeding </b></h1><p>Working closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Software Engineering colleagues across product teams with shared responsibility for the overall outcome and success the products in LEGO B2B Partner & Markets Technology area.</p><p>Knowledge sharing and bringing forth new ideas for improvements is a central part of your role to ensure that we constantly strive to produce the best possible quality in our digital products.</p><p>You will be part of the bigger Partner & Markets area that is responsible for a broader range of solutions facing our partners and the LEGO sales organization. We are organized in autonomous product teams working agile with end-to-end responsibility for our products, and we collaborate closely with the teams that drive the ‘Business to Business’ strategy and its execution for the LEGO Group.</p><p></p><h1><b>Do you have what it takes? </b></h1><ul><li><p>Determined as well as an organized teammate</p></li><li><p>Deep knowledge in coding standards, patterns, AntiPatterns and software architecture design</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of back-end software development using cloud technologies, APIs and modern scalable and resilient solutions built in C#, .NET and Typescript</p></li><li><p>Experience with PostgreSQL databases and pgplsql scripting</p></li><li><p>Experience of working with modern CI/CD and engineering tooling – we use GitHub services to maintain our code and deployment pipelines</p></li><li><p>Experience working with cloud services is a plus - our services layer uses Amazon Web Services, Containers and Serverless Framework</p></li><li><p>Experience with IaC tools is a plus – we use Pulumi to manage AWS services</p></li><li><p>Must be attentive to detail, flexible and able to work concurrently on multiple tasks</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Experience with event-based solutions and async technologies</p></li><li><p>Databricks and Python experience is a plus</p></li><li><p>Passionate and outspoken about technology and open-source</p></li><li><p>Eager to explore new technologies and sharing of knowledge</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.</p><p></p><h1><b>Build your career brick by brick at the LEGO Group. </b></h1><p>"Bring your tech talent and people passion into play and become part of a big IT community and get the chance to spar with other specialists that share interest!"</p><p>#LI-JB1</p><p></p><p>Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
