Senior Director, Advertising Sales - Walmart Connect (Food)

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As the Senior Director of Advertising Sales – Food, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth across Walmart’s Food vertical. You will:

• Own the sales strategy and execution for key Food advertisers, ensuring alignment with Walmart Connects broader goals.
• Lead and develop a team of sales leaders, account managers, and campaign strategists to scale advertiser success.
• Build deep relationships with C-suite stakeholders at major food brands, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Drive innovation by identifying new advertising opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Analytics).
• Leverage data and insights to inform campaign strategies and demonstrate ROI to clients.
• Represent Walmart Connect at industry events and in key markets such as NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Who You Are

• A seasoned sales executive with experience in digital advertising, preferably in Food.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams, with a history as a second or third line people manager.
• Deep understanding of programmatic, search, display, video, and integrated sponsorships.
• Strong consultative selling skills and experience working with C-level executives.
• Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and collaborating across departments.
• Passionate about data-driven marketing and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience in retail media networks or working with large retailers.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
