Performance Marketing Intern

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are now looking for a new intern to complement our Marketing team.

As part of the Performance Marketing Team you will play a role in the success and business growth of the organization; your tasks will revolve around developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing our activities across multiple digital channels and regions. As our Performance Marketing Intern you will support the team specialist, while learning new skills and working on planning and implementing projects. This role of Performance Marketing Intern is based at our Amsterdam office and is a full-time internship for 5-6 months. We are a remote-friendly company, meaning you can work from home or any location you want.

What this role looks like

Our Performance Marketing Team plays an essential role in generating leads and attracting potential clients. It seeks to develop, implement, track and optimize our activities using a variety of digital channels (Google Ads, Capterra, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & more) and regions. 

As our Performance Marketing Intern you will share the responsibility of managing, understanding strategies and implementing them, in order to discover the best means and methods to communicate our values and attract potential clients. You will closely work and collaborate with different marketing domains such as SEM, SEO, SMM, and Website Optimization.

Some of your key tasks as Performance Marketing Intern

• Learn how to manage digital campaigns (Paid Search, Paid Social, Organic Search & Social - plus any new channels we discover!);

• Learn and develop SEO & SEM strategies

• Report and analyze campaign performance

• Testing and drawing conclusions from campaign results

• Interests that you may stumble upon during your internship

Requirements

Job requirements

• Your higher education degree’s focus is in Marketing Management, Economics, Business Management or similar;

• Fluency in English;

• You can work with us for a minimum of 5 months;

• You have analytical skills and basic knowledge of digital marketing channels;

• You think proactively, have a hands-on mentality and are data-driven;

• A proven passion for digital marketing;

• You can work on and prioritize multiple projects, you like to work as part of a team as well as independently;

• You are eager to learn and are enthusiastic.

Bonus points for…

• You are fluent in Dutch or German;

• Experience in Google Analytics, Google Ads and/or Facebook Ads;

• Hands-on Wordpress experience.
