What to expect

As a Project Governance Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing the successful implementation of multiple new systems within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will be responsible for managing the overall status and progress of various project stakeholders and systems integration efforts. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate and advise on the status of all parties and systems involved in the project, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and organizational goals.

Governance and Oversight: Establish and maintain a robust project governance framework to oversee the implementation of multiple systems. Ensure that all projects are aligned with the overall business objectives and comply with governance standards and best practices.
Status Management: Monitor the overall status and progress of different parties (internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders) and systems involved in the project. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the customer, highlighting key achievements, risks, and issues.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for communication with the customer, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables. Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve any conflicts or issues.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues that could impact project delivery. Develop mitigation strategies and action plans in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Performance Tracking: Utilize project management tools and techniques to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project progress, quality, and budget. Ensure that all parties are meeting their commitments and that the project remains on track.
Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to the customer and senior management, providing insights and recommendations on project strategy, system implementation, and stakeholder engagement. Offer guidance on best practices and industry standards to optimize project delivery and outcomes.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new systems. Develop and implement change management plans, including training, communication, and support strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, project managers, technical teams, and third-party vendors. Ensure stakeholder needs and expectations are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Implement best practices to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and qu
