Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Leading the conceptualization, execution, and upkeep of cloud architecture solutions that are both highly scalable and resilient
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deeply comprehend business requirements and transform them into streamlined software solutions
- Developing patterns for automated provisioning, management, scalability and security
- Ensuring all cloud solutions follow internally defined security and compliance standards and controls
- Designing and planning enterprise-scale cloud environments including application dependencies, data storage and flow, network connectivity and overall cloud hosting
- Designing, implementing, and securing cloud IaaS, PaaS and higher services in AWS
- Developing and maintaining up-to-date architectural templates, build operational documentation of the technical environment
- Working in close collaboration with the rest of Engineering, DevOps and CIO teams to develop Service Catalogues
Qualifications
What you should have:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering
- Experience building and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS resources
- Experience implementing and managing networking components such as VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing tables to create secure and isolated environments
- Experience configuring and optimizing AWS services, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and IAM roles, for optimal performance and cost efficiency
- Experience with scripting in languages such as Bash, Python, Powershell, or other scripting languages
- Demonstrated knowledge of cloud provisioning and administration and cloud interoperability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
You will stand out if you have:
- Experience implementing and managing containerized applications using AWS services like Amazon ECS or Kubernetes on AWS (EKS)
- Experience with cloud disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, as well as performance measurement and monitoring in the cloud
- Experience designing and implementing serverless applications (API Gateway, Lambda, etc.)
Base Salary: $100,000 - $160,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.

You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k program, starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment with a company match.
