Senior Compensation Manager 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

This is a key role within the Recruitment, Organization Development and Compensation teams owning, developing, implementing and running key compensation projects and processes. As member of the People team the position holder plays important role in monitoring and developing the existing compensation structure, driving salary benchmark data analysis, supporting HR and leadership decisions and coordinating all compensation related projects. The position holder shall be highly innovative, must be aware of the latest Compensation trends on the market and should have a strong personal drive to adjust these to the Company, build concepts, ‘sell’ them to the key stakeholders and drive implementation and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all compensation and benefits related areas such as coordination of salary schemes, benefits, salary planning, social security and taxation, salary reporting and forecasts.
  • Responsible for setting compensation trends and coordinating the annual salary benchmark analysis to evaluate external competitiveness and internal satisfaction and efficiency of the reward programs for Cabin Crew, Flight Crew and Office employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the compensation schemes comply with legal and regulatory requirements and are aligned with the company policies and objectives.
  • Responsible for the implementation of group Compensation policies.
  • Responsible for continuously improving Compensation processes and systems.
  • Owner of the group Compensation data trends, metrics and figures.
  • Responsible for the preparation of reports and materials for the Remuneration Committee (Board) activities/meetings.
  • Cooperates with Finance in regard to the annual reporting process, monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and budget planning.
  • Responds to ad hoc compensation related questions and inquiries.
  • Ongoing change management, as well as project and stakeholder management.
  • Supervisory responsibility: the position manages a small team of Compensation Managers and has responsibility over their ongoing performance management.

 

Requirements:

  • University or college graduate
  • 5+ years of HR of Finance experience in multinational environment
  • 3+ year experience in payroll, compensation or controlling related roles at multinational companies
  • Highly innovative, able to build concepts and business cases, ‘sell’ ideas and drive implementation
  • Strong operational capabilities to drive processes and execution of key initiatives
  • Strong influencing and communication skills in order to build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and to shape the Company Culture
  • Project management experience
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
