YOUR PURPOSE
Member of the Accounting team that ensures accurate processing and recording of the Credit Union expense reimbursement process and accounting payroll support. Performs a variety of entries and various support functions on behalf of the Credit Union. Works in conjunction with the others in the Accounting and Human Resources department and collaborates with internal and external partners to meet timelines and achieve goals.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Primary administrator of the employee expense reimbursement process in compliance with company policies and guidelines. The role will be primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of employee reimbursement requests, including managing the corporate credit card expense report process. Review, verify, and categorize expense reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Communicate with employees regarding any issues with their expense submissions and provide guidance on reimbursement procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee reimbursements and corporate credit card expenses. Continuously improve and streamline the expense reimbursement process, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Primary support for the accounting functions of payroll processing for the Credit Union. This includes working in conjunction with Human Resources to process bi-weekly payroll, accruing all monthly payroll taxes, quarterly reports, annual payroll reporting including W-2 and ACA forms, annual salary budget, analysis and breakdown of expenses by branch and department. Responsible for the reconcilement of various payroll and benefits related general ledger accounts.
- Verifying and posting details of business transactions to general ledger and other tracking systems in support of the day-to-day credit union accounting operations. Operations may include reconciliation for settlement accounts, general ledger accounts, backing up Accounts Payable process and other accounting functions.
- Prepares moderately complex spreadsheets, charts and graphs as part of problem solving and/or reporting requests.
- Analyzes large amounts of data from various sources and organizes the data by creating and updating complex spreadsheets (Excel). Will utilize this data and analysis to recommend solutions, drive decisions, create reports and evaluate operational needs.
- Participates in staff meetings and supports department with various projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned by department supervisors and managers.

Our pay values are reflected in our compensation philosophy which rewards individual performance and the potential to contribute to our teams’ overall success long-term.
The full pay range for this position across all the states in which we hire is $24.59-$34.43. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s experience, education, and skill level.
