Job Description
AECOM has an opportunity available for a bilingual Spanish/English Director of Quality & Delivery Excellence to provide leadership and direction regarding all Quality initiative related to projects and operating protocols. The Director of Quality ensures conformance to high level of quality, performance, safety and/or code requirements by performing QA/QC Site and System monitoring duties.
Position can be located in the US or LATAM offices.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide oversight and guidance to LATAM Quality and project execution teams to ensure compliance with established AECOM Quality Processes and Procedures.
- Develop Quality training plan(s) and facilitate delivery of Quality focused training to LATAM project teams in accordance with established AECOM Quality processes and procedures.
- Supporting and facilitating project initiation and readiness review process following Healthy Start process requirements.
- Support LATAM project teams with client satisfaction/feedback surveys as needed following NPS/NDS system and processes.
- Perform daily monitoring of site activities towards set requirements of the related documentation.
- Perform daily monitoring on delivered, stored and used material related to the site activities.
- Perform daily monitoring against the design related to the executed works on site.
- Perform daily monitoring on plant and equipment present on site, including liaising closely with the HSE department for any issues of concern.
- Issue and follow up on non-compliances through the Site NCR process.
- Liaise closely with Client and PM Operations Team on site and design related issues.
- Provide guidance to the PM Operations Team on Site.
- Participate in punch lists, testing and commissioning monitoring and verification.
- Attend package related meetings to present and discuss site quality related issues.
- Track QA progress and identify issues and potential trends, including Quality Alerts.
- Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Engage in demonstrable behavior, including safety observations and hazard identification, to reinforce your commitment to safety.
- Reporting any safety hazards or risks in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
- University degree as Civil engineer, architect or Industrial engineer.
- 12+ years of specific experience in QA/QC Leadership role.
- Excellent communication skills using the English and Spanish Language.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous AECOM QA/QC protocol knowledge and experience in a QA/QC leader role.
