Southwest Care Center is currently seeking an experienced temporary Technical Support Analyst II. This is a temporary position with NO benefits that supports all SCC locations in Santa Fe and Albuquerque; therefore, candidate must reside in the local market area of Albuquerque or Santa Fe, New Mexico and able to travel between the two cities as needed. 


 

Position Details: 

 

Under the supervision of the Director of IT, the Technical Support Analyst II is tasked with providing comprehensive support and maintenance for software, hardware, and peripherals within the organization's desktop computing environment. The responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and related equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Furthermore, this role involves troubleshooting technical issues promptly and accurately, whether in person, via telephone, or through email. Providing end-user assistance as needed is also a key aspect of this position.

 

 

Position responsibilities include but not limited to: 

 

  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex workstation problems for end users. 

  • Recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed. 

  • Deliver required desktop service levels by installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user workstations and related hardware and software. 

  • Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to computers, including the installation of CPUs, I/O, NIC cards, hard drives, RAM, and so on. 

  • Collaborate with IT Team to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment. 

  • Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products, as required. 

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, tickets, and e-mails regarding desktop problems. 

  • Respond to and perform move, add, and change requests as they are submitted.
