As a National Restoration Project Director, you will drive operational excellence, spearhead strategic growth, and ensure exceptional project outcomes across our national portfolio.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Execution
- Business Development: Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with adjusters, property owners, and facility managers to expand commercial restoration opportunities.
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end project execution, including scope development, cost estimation, contract negotiation, and timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Regional Marketing Directors and Operations Managers to align strategies, optimize resources, and accelerate business growth.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee project managers to ensure adherence to service standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
- Process Compliance: Maintain rigorous compliance with company policies, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage project budgets, invoicing, change orders, and collections to maximize profitability and fiscal accountability.
- Conflict Resolution: Proactively address client or adjuster disputes, delivering innovative solutions that strengthen relationships and secure future opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years in restoration/construction, with proficiency in Time & Material (T&M) billing, Xactimate, remediation, and mitigation practices.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor teams, manage client expectations, and thrive in dynamic environments.
- Certifications: IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) or equivalent credentials preferred.
- Operational Agility: Expertise in multitasking, strategic decision-making, and conflict resolution within dynamic settings.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and compliance with company vehicle policies.
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
- This position requires a significant amount of travel.
