In this role you will lead business process definition and improvement and work to align critical business systems to maximize efficiency across a rapidly growing start up organization. This position is responsible for partnering with stakeholders across the organization to lead process and system definition as well as define analytics strategies ensuring leaders have actionable data to decision making. Additionally, this role is responsible for growing and leading a team of business process, analytics and business systems professionals who consult with end users and develop to processes and align business systems.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive operational growth through integration of business processes and critical business information systems. Align business information systems to business processes.
- Collaborate with the executive team to establish Business Information systems and Business Analytics strategies supporting the business vision, mission, and goals.
- Scale systems and processes for collecting, streamlining, and presenting actionable data for executive decision-making, financial reports, inventory reports, and key performance indicators.
- Manage and grow operational systems for ERP, Configuration Management, CRM, commodity purchasing, and shop floor / manufacturing automation.
- Lead initiatives to implement best practices and lean principles. Identify gaps in current systems and processes to create roadmaps for improvements, including lean process and value stream mapping.
- Drive projects to implement improvements aligned with annual operating plans and stakeholder needs.
- Direct and manage internal subject matter experts and outside vendors to build and support systems and processes.
- Develop and manage budget, resources, and talent to achieve goals.
- Train, mentor, and coach the team to build a strong organization.
- Manage, oversee and coordinate ongoing business systems operations. Includes systems requirements, maintenance and upgrades.
- Align business systems to support AS9100 certification, FAR / DFAR, and ITAR / Export restrictions. Communicate status to stakeholders and provide training across the organization.
- Report on operational growth metrics to the executive team.
- Drive accountability ensuring that milestones are met that ensure the organization’s ability to meet customer requirements.
- Set clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to support professional growth within the team.
- Partner with recruitment to ensure staffing goals are met in support of business growth.
- Ensure necessary training programs align with business and employee development needs.
- Promote engagement of company culture and values within the team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance/Accounting or related field.
- 8+ years of broad business experience including manufacturing, supply chain, planning, quality, finance/accounting and engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize processes and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Strong knowledge of lean principals and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to partner effectively with functional leaders and end users of business systems to define and improve processes as well as identify system requirements.
