Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Calusa Crossing Animal Hospital is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our dedicated team! As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a key role in setting the tone for their visit. We’re seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.

Bilingual candidates are preferred.

• Pay Range: $15.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience)

  • Must be available to work every other Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism

• Check in appointments, confirm visit details, and escort clients to exam rooms

• Process payments, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records

• Answer incoming calls regarding appointments, medication refills, and general inquiries

• Make outbound calls for reminders, follow-ups, and client communication

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area

• Demonstrate knowledge of:

  • Basic vaccination protocols

  • Lab tests and common diseases

  • Veterinary terminology and pet behavior

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred

• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to remain calm and positive in a busy environment

• AVIMARK experience is a plus

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates strongly preferred
