About the role

SAFETY

  • Assist and offer the necessary tools to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Ensure employees are correctly trained in terms of safety procedures
  • Comply and oversee the compliance of the established prevention goals and when necessary create and put in place new goals according to the safety instructions given.
  • Integrate aspects of Health and Safety, Quality and Environment in all the meetings and communication with the employees

PRODUCTION

  • coordinate within the area of the factory to achieve the objectives established by the Operations according to the approved budget.
  • participate in the coordination of all the available productive resources in the factory.
  • Collaborate in the development of a new products) during the design phase (product design, regulations, tests, prototypes, final approval, etc.) according to the internal criteria and following customer specification
  • Supervise the work of your team, providing the necessary instructions for correction of possible deviations.
  • Define, follow and analyze the KPI’s with the Industrial Director: scrap, 2nd choice products, productivity, process capacity and product portfolio…acting in order to achieve a continuous improvement of results.
  • In collaboration with the Industrial Manager, design and implement process alerts that allow us to know deviations in production and set appropriate corrective measures.
  • Control and supervise the operational functions of the machines and improve tooling.
  • Ensure a positive working environment in the Factory

ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY

  • Communicate to your superiors any situation that could be considered a risk for the environment as soon as you become aware of it.
  • Suggest appropriate measures in your job position to improve environmental procedures.
  • Comply with all the established environmental procedures.
  • Ensure quality in all the production process.
  • Ensure that final products comply with the correct standards and required levels of quality.
  • to ensure that all the established quality controls are carried out.
  • Comply with all the established quality procedures
  • Communicate problems related to quality arising from the production process, from customers complaints or problems with suppliers

Skills & background

Education requirement · Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering

Experience & knowledge requirements· first experience in operations / production environment within the industry, having worked already in the Construction & panels business being a strong advantage

  • Experience in process analytics and optimization
  • High understanding in production processes

Personal skills requirement

  • Self-motivated, personable and a good team player
  • Decision making, pragmatic and problem solver attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communications & organisational skills
  • Previous experience of managing a team, with ambition and drive to grow people

Language requirement

  • Fluent Spanish skills are mandatory, working proficiency in English is required
