Associate Director, Global Oncology Commercial Pipeline Analytics, HHDDA

Our Human Health Digital Data and Analytics (HHDDA) organization is charged with innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross functionally, we are inventing new ways of engaging with our customers and patients by leveraging digital, data, and analytics to measure our organizational impact.

The Associate Director, Global Oncology Commercial Pipeline Analytics, HHDDA will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic data insights and analytics to address the global marketing team’s key business questions to inform launch-related decisions and activities for Hematology. The team member will partner closely with global marketing, operations, finance & enterprise strategy, and clinical & discovery to inform executive decision making and increase commercial rigor through all phases of the pipeline asset development.

Reporting to the Director of Global Commercial Pipeline Analytics, the team member will work alongside other HHDDA teams (including market research, forecasting, data science, data strategy, etc.) to proactively orchestrate the planning and delivery of complex analytics assessments. The team member will also help establish a set of analytics capabilities anchored to our commercial marketing framework to shape franchise strategy and proactively “connect the dots” across the HHDDA cross-functional teams.

The successful leader will build strong relationships and communicate clearly with various cross functional teams to ensure successful development and delivery of analytical insights.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline analytics: Lead the development and synthesis of commercial data & insights solutions, patient / portfolio / benchmarking analytics, business cases, performance measurements, market evaluations to support decision making for the Hematology team. Establish analytics capabilities anchored to our commercial marketing and launch frameworks to shape Global Oncology strategy.

  • Insights Quarterback: Serve as the HHDDA quarterback by proactively orchestrating the planning and delivery of analytics assessments across HHDDA functional teams (e.g., market research, forecasting, data science, payer insights & analytics, and data strategy & solutions). Proactively “connect the dots” across HHDDA cross-functional teams, and across assets and diseases.

  • Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with global marketing teams, finance, market leaders, enterprise strategy and operations to inform strategic reviews and increase commercial rigor through all phases of pipeline asset development and Global Launch readiness.

  • Communication and Transparency: Communicate analytics and insights with cross-functional leaders in an effective manner. Provide transparency to all relevant stakeholders, including global marketing, operations, clinical teams, and governance committees.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science, engineering, or business-related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, data insights and analytics (e.g., advanced or predictive analytics, secondary data analytics, forecasting, market research, strategic planning, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry)

  • Strong knowledge of secondary analytics and industry best practices in analytics, preferably with experience in the Hematology and/or Oncology therapeutic area

  • Deep understanding of Real-world data assets and commercial pharma data ecosystem

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with ability to connect the dots, consolidating and synthesizing across primary/secondary data insights

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, to find and execute solutions to complex or ambiguous business problems.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a talent for effectively communicating complex concepts to a wide range of global stakeholders.

  • Relationship-building and influencing skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Experience in working in multi-national corporations with geographically distributed teams and matrix reporting lines.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Therapeutic area experience in Hematology/ Oncology

  • Experience in Life Science or consulting industry.

  • Global experience.

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, PhD) appreciated, but not required.
