NTT Data is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Senior VoIP Network Engineer to work with our global client in Orange, CT as they are undertaking a deep change in their VoIP infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert on VoIP communications, based on Cisco hardware
• Collaborate in VoIP projects; currently there is an ongoing CUCM (CallManager) consolidation and migration to platform 12.5
• Oversee and manage all components of the Cisco Unified Communication Manager cluster
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware / software replacements and upgrades
• Develops and maintains all VoIP documentation (drawings, cut sheets, configurations, and deployment plans)
• Provide L3 support for the networking team in a multitiered support team
• Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in voice and video services

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience working on IT VoIP projects designing, building, and/or maintaining communications systems
• CCNA or CCNP is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience providing services such as network design, network installation, systems engineering, hardware integration, systems architecture, hardware design/build and system modeling
• Knowledge on VoIP infrastructures design and management
• Knowledge on Switching, routing, and Firewalls
• Ability to work autonomously and manage client expectations
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Outstanding organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive documentation of work
• Familiar with ticketing systems like IT Now
