As the Senior. Principal Infrastructure Delivery Lead, you will be leading a large multi-disciplined team through planning, implementation, integration, and test efforts, all while meeting or exceeding scheduled milestones for a build out of a next generation cloud-based factory development system. In this role you will be responsible for management of cost, schedule, and technical performance to ensure products, systems and services are delivered in accordance with the scope of the contract requirements. Lastly, you will work directly with Program leadership, Systems and Software Teams, other IPTLs, and external stakeholders to execute and support the program’s platform needs on a multi-million-dollar contract.
Note: This position is an onsite role in Richardson, TX.
What You Will Do
- Plan, staff and report status on deliverables including associated CDRLs
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for deliverables within assigned CLINs
- Manage and track deliverable’s progression thru Procurement, Deployment and Provisioning; and ending with Transitioning to Operations (TTO)
- Develop cost estimates, schedule definition and technical plans for all proposed scope within the IPT’s CLIN for task orders and estimates submitted to the customer
- Manage labor and material costs, delivery schedules and CPT coordination to ensure infrastructure deliveries are in accordance with the scope of the contract requirements
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years of systems engineering experience
- Experience with flow-down, design, development and testing of systems
- Experience working in a technical environment interfacing with systems, software, or hardware engineering disciplines
- Experience communicating technical and project information to senior management
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Exceptional engineering analytical and decision-making skills with strong ability to be creative and innovative in designing solutions, and major subcontractors
- Experience developing and operating with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Experience in analysis, modeling, systems engineering architecture and lifecycle development, requirement development and/or requirement verification
- Experience leading and training technical teams of junior to mid-level engineers and analysts and ability to balance development priorities with near/long term program objectives
- Experience in giving technical briefs or presentations
- Experience in developing, implementing, integrating, and validating HW/SW and/or system architectures, concepts, and constructs
