As a Line Cook, you are an essential part of preparing high-quality food promptly and consistently. •  Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follows recipes, controls, portions, and presentation specifics as directed
• Responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the manager
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes as directed
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly

Preferred Education and Experience: 

• High school or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year of cooking experience and demonstrated knowledge of food trends, quality, production, sanitation, presentation, and food cost control.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional hospitality environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

• Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, and interact effectively with guests 
• Must be able to accept constructive criticism from supervisors
• Must be able to change activities frequently and cope with last-minute room changes
• Must be able to maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
