Role and responsibilities

  • Listen and seek to understand the Finance and Accounting team’s task and process relating to the project,
  • Work with IT teams locally and in Geneva to leverage their digital abilities,
  • Analyze and define data requirements by evaluating business processes and existing data-driven solutions,
  • Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualization within the accounting, treasury, and financial reporting processes,
  • Implement and manage data models,
  • Ensure direct and regular involvement of the users in testing of the automation to facilitate success and change management,
  • Identify new digital techniques, tools or best practices and assist in integrating them into ATMI’s way of working,
  • Document the code and process to facilitate maintenance and development needs,
  • Assist the Finance Project Leader in measuring efficiencies and ROI of new digital initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate acceleration of the Finance process automation, ensuring regular and future-proof deliveries
  • Work according to an established set of priorities, and regularly meet with the Finance Project leader to ensure user availability and update on the planning
  • Ensure the Financial users are involved throughout the project, through periodic testing and demos
  • Ensure sufficient notes are documented so that the coding can be adapted easily to incorporate any future needs, and to facilitate support and troubleshooting

 

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in data analysis and process automation
  • Work experience in Finance, Risk Control or Business Analysis is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, VBA, Python. SQL and RPA would be a plus
  • Proactive and critical thinker who seeks feedback and can identify opportunities for continuous process improvement

Location: Dowtown Houston, TX (allowed to work from home 2 days/week).
