Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of employees, which includes hiring, training, developing, mentoring, and managing team and individual performance.
- Oversee evaluation practices, processes, and procedures in designated content areas.
- Establish team goals and objectives that align with school and college evaluation objectives.
- Utilize metrics and related data to identify and determine continuous improvement steps that support key results and KPIs.
- Coordinate, review, and monitor team evaluations through observation reviews within the schools and colleges to ensure high quality feedback to students.
- Lead, implement, and monitor solutions that enhance evaluation processes and procedures.
- Monitor, review, and report on key metrics and on the effectiveness of evaluation procedures.
- Manage teams’ workload and volume to ensure teams stay within the service level agreements and adjust staffing levels as needed.
- Assess team training needs; develop and deliver training to ensure employees are calibrated in providing accurate, fair, helpful, and quick feedback on student competency.
- Maintain subject matter knowledge in course content areas to serve as a subject matter expert (SME); participate in on-going development and formal development projects with program leaders.
- Ensure course content and evaluation processes align with new and revised degree programs and courses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Demonstrates change management skills using the ADKAR (Awareness Desire Knowledge Ability Reinforcement) model.
- Broad understanding of evaluation processes, procedures, and practices.
- Ability to hire, develop, mentor, and lead employees.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in a virtual environment.
- Ability to lead teams in change initiatives and monitor change effectiveness.
- Ability to identify process issues and implement continuous improvement steps.
- Proficiency in technology and demonstrated ability to master new applications, platforms, and systems.
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of program content to collaborate with leaders on program updates or changes.
- Thorough understanding of competency-based education
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or other advanced degree in the content area relevant to the role, or equivalent work experience
- Two (2) years of related work experience with evaluation processes and procedures, competency-based education in an online environment, and experience supporting underserved populations, which includes one (1) year of experience leading a team
- School or college specific credential or licensing in the content area relevant to the role may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Terminal Degree in the content area relevant to role
- Additional evaluation leadership experience in a relevant content area
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
- Primarily words remote within the continental United States but is available to travel to meetings as required.
Additional Requirement:
- Ability to work night and weekends
