As an Expert IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the architecture of Nestlé's Azure data warehouse complies with global IT strategy and system architecture best practices at all times. You will be supporting the Advanced Analytics use cases in business areas including sales, trade, customer service, finance, supply chain and logistics. You will ensure security of data by maintaining the integrity and performance of Nestlé's databases and guaranteeing that data is stored securely and optimally. As a Solution Architect will play a key role between the reporting teams, business areas, and Nestle technology teams to enhance the advanced analytics user experience and design the architecture for the future. You will play a key role in helping stand up MLOps for Nestle USA. You’ll be leveraging technologies such as ML/OPS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Function, Azure Synapse dedicated pool, Databricks, Azure Analysis Service (AAS), Azure Synapse Serverless, Event Hub, Microservices/API, Python/PYSPARK/R and SQL. 

 

  • Design, develop, and implement analytics platforms using Azure Cloud architecture with structured and unstructured data sources
  • Develop forward-thinking IT blueprints and technology roadmaps, and drive alignment and acceptance of the Enterprise architecture with multiple stakeholders
  • Conduct framework reviews and create design documentation
  • Perform cloud governance processes 
  • Perform code reviews and recommend changes to architecture, design model, and code
  • Test and troubleshoot frameworks


Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics and/or IT solution delivery 
  • 1+ year of experience in Azure Cloud OR 3+ years in other cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OpenStack, CloudStack, IBM Cloud, Adobe Cloud
  • 1+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing analytical platforms end to end using cloud architecture with structured and unstructured data sources required
  • 1+ years of developing Databricks on any cloud platform
  • Experience in MuleSoft and Snowflake preferred
