As part of a diverse and hardworking team of Integration Technicians you will be responsible for facility construction/modification support, facility operation, maintenance, and test article integration for rocket engine and space vehicle testing activities.

Responsibilities will include:
- Fabrication and routing of pressurization and propellant tubing
- Test article integration and checkout
- Reviewing, editing, and following Test Procedures
- Operation of test facility systems
- Installation and checkout of wire harnesses and instrumentation
- General trouble shooting of instrumentation, valves, leaks, etc
- Working with engineers on design concepts/improvements and development tests
- Planning and communicating assembly steps for complex mechanical installations
- Providing design feedback on the test stand and test article(s)
- Flexibility to support testing campaigns as required – this may mean shift work or extended hours based on testing needs
- Safe working practices:
- Safely working with hazardous chemicals and high-pressure systems
- Demonstrate a strong bias for safety in operations
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work any shift, including 2nd or weekends.
- Experience with pneumatic/fluids systems, hydraulics, electrical controls cabinet wiring, harness routing/management, data acquisition and/or networking systems
- Experience testing or operating electrical/control systems for avionics or vehicle control systems
- Large mechanical assembly of tooling, platforms, and heavy equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work with test, flight and safety-critical hardware
- Standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings – P&IDs, fabrication drawings
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Ability to work off-shift hours and alternate shifts to accommodate testing
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
- Working knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants, including Hydrogen Peroxide, RP, and cryogenics
- Knowledge in the use of computer programs such as AutoCAD P&ID or Creo
- Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc) and pressurized system safety
- Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware
