Job Summary

You will have the unique opportunity to work on the cutting edge of cybersecurity and to be part of a team that is responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our applications as well as infrastructure to improve our overall security posture. In addition, you will be offered opportunities to develop your skills under the guidance of senior team members.

Major Responsibilities

On the Adaptive Security Team, you will project manage penetration testing engagements to enable the successful planning and completion of penetration tests. With your expertise, you will assist in maintaining and improving business processes and documentation. In this role, you will successfully execute the following responsibilities:

  • Complete process requests for manual penetration and adversarial security engagements required for successful execution, such as access requests, firewall requests, change management requests, etc.
  • Assist with the maintenance of documentation of business processes through the coordination of review and updates by other senior team members.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Review reports generated from formal testing engagements for accuracy, completeness, grammar and consistency.
  • Review findings generated from testing engagement for accuracy, completeness and duplicity.
  • Manage findings generated from testing engagements, including validating data, mapping of findings to assets and coordinating timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate control processes to ensure they are functioning as designed.
  • Collaborate with security vendors and document knowledge transfer from subject matter experts
  • Work with teammates to consistently learn advanced skills and foster team excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related fields; applicable specialized training; or equivalent work experience - equally preferable
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies and techniques
  • Proficient at multitasking and prioritizing work assignments, with guidance
  • The ability to perform project planning, develop and evaluate processes and procedures, and perform data analysis and reporting.
  • Conceptual grasp of networking, applications, and operating system functionality and concepts
  • Entry-level understanding of security concepts such as OWASP, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $135K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
