Role overview:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our growing Client Prospecting digital product management team. This role supports digital marketing products and platforms used directly by Agents as they build their small business, find prospective clients, and build relationships with clients. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys understanding user needs, problem-solving based on data and evidence, organizing and managing projects end-to-end, and developing relationships with stakeholders.
You will join a team which is at the forefront of New York Life's evolution to providing more innovative consumer and agent/advisor experiences. Our digital products are leaning into the power of human guidance and improving our customer's financial wellness and peace of mind, while enabling our agents to grow their small businesses.
What You’ll Do:
• Proactively manage and support the definition, development, execution, and delivery of digital products, platforms, features, and enhancements.
• Drive product strategy by proactively identifying opportunities, defining needs, and shaping the vision to align with business objectives and user outcomes.
• Create roadmaps and high-level requirements based on user and business needs, feasibility, and impact.
• Analyze research and data to support discovery, ideation, and prioritization.
• Define OKRs and monitor and communicate progress against them.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, designers, and product owners.
• Apply Agile processes and principles.
• Generate and maintain process and product documentation.
• Develop and refine product strategy processes and artifacts.
• Support product leaders to help coordinate key product and project management tasks across various portfolios.
What You’ll Bring:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or other related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in product management or related fields, with a proven track record of delivering successful products or product features.
• Proficiency across the full product lifecycle, with product certification or training preferred.
• A product mindset – curiosity about challenges and opportunities, passion and empathy for users, a love of problem-solving, and a drive to create value.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Advanced analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leveraging project management and workflow tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Workfront.
And if you have this, we really want to hear from you:
• Experience in the fintech industry, life insurance, retirement, or another highly regulated industry is desired.
• Experience with Advisor or Agent platforms and experiences a plus.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $77,500 - $130,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
