Job Summary:
The Construction Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all construction activities meet or exceed established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. This role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with project teams to maintain the highest level of construction quality. Active CQM certification required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities and identify potential quality issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, audits, test results, and quality reports.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as safety and environmental standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials and equipment meet required quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements to optimize quality management.
  • Coordinate with third-party inspectors and regulatory agencies as needed.
