Application Engineer, Salesforce

Meta's Sales Enablement Team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise sales and marketing applications. As an Application Engineer, Salesforce, you will play a key role in re-imagining sales productivity by shipping transformative products that serve Meta's Sales teams and partners across its businesses.Application Engineer, Salesforce Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of projects and managing resources
• Work with product, Application managers and business stakeholders to drive strategic value through custom applications built on Salesforce, as well as our internal software stack. Architect highly available, scalable, and secure systems.
• Comply with change management policies to ensure system reliability, stability and ensure data integrity.
• Understand and employ performance metrics for delivering business value
• Build interfaces for complex systems and high-quality tools

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing business applications in Salesforce lightning (LWC), PHP, Java, C++, Python, or similar
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs like SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API
• 3+ years of experience in Visualforce/Apex incorporating JavaScript frameworks like React, Bootstrap or Angular
• 2+ years of experience in developing Lightning web components/Apex incorporating JavaScript frameworks like React, Bootstrap or Angular
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

Preferred Qualifications

• Platform Developer II certification
• Experience building and supporting production quality software with over 1000 users
• Experience owning projects from end-to-end
• In-Depth understanding of data management: structured and unstructured DBs, SQL and RDBMS technologies
• SQL experience in handling volumes of data, performance tuning
• Experience in understanding code bases, including API design techniques
• Knowledge in UI/UX, which can be reflected in your work

$109,000/year to $165,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
