The Sr. Manager, Vendor Management Position Sunnova Energy is searching for a Sr. Manager of Vendor Management to be responsible for vendor sourcing and performance for maintenance service. This position analyzes the external provider needs for maintenance and installation operations, sources and secures vendor agreements, processes all administration related to vendor onboarding and manages vendor performance. The Manager ensures that service levels and costs targets are maintained through diligent reporting and oversight of vendor performance.
Sr. Manager, Vendor Management Responsibilities • Responsible for service level and cost targets of the maintenance and installation functions • Analyzes vendor requirements including service types and geographies • Identifies potential vendors, vets vendors and secures agreements for maintenance service and installation activities • Administers vendor onboarding including account set-up, accounts payable coordination and conducts vendor onboarding sessions • Maintains directory of vendors for maintenance and installation • Prepares reports daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc reporting of vendor performance including service levels and costs • Forecasts vendor fulfilment requirements by order type and geography • Coordinates with vendors to ensure capacity is available to fill maintenance and installation orders • Develops and prepares vendor scorecards to evaluate vendor performance • Identifies vendor performance issues and makes recommendations to management for action plans to address underperformance  Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, project management, business, logistics operations, or a related field • 7+ years’ related experience • 3+ years’ management experience • 2+ years’ experience in vendor procurement and vendor management in a service industry  Preferred Qualifications• Master’s degree in supply chain management, project management, business, logistics operations, or a related field • SalesForce experience • 2+ years’ Solar energy industry experience  Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities• Technical and applied understanding of digital logistics tools, such as transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management systems (IMS) • Proven track record of consistently delivering on key performance indicators • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite Working Conditions • Works in an open office setting; not a remote or work from home position Physical Requirements • Must be able to work at a computer for 8 or more hours a day.  Benefits Sunnova offers a generous employee reward package that includes: • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, healthcare flexible spending account, and 401(k) with employer match. • Competitive compensation & annual bonus • Paid time off, including 10 holidays and Paid Parental Leave • Cell phone allowance for many roles • Free access to onsite fitness center in Houston and/or discounted fitness memberships through health provider • Complimentary garage parking in Houston We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
