Laboratory Supervisor - Red Bay Hospital, Laboratory, Full Time, 1st Shift

Overview

Provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Directs, supervises, and coordinates functions and activities in any or all divisions of the clinical laboratories.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related science is preferred.

Experience: One year supervisory experience or four years. experience as a generalist medical technologist

Additional Skills/Abilities: Certified as Medical Technologist by the ASCP, AMT, and NCA. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Understands quality management and quality control. Proven ability to write procedures and manuals. Ability to delegate and direct processes.
