Kitchen Operations Supervisor

Dunwoody Village, a 5-star continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located in Newtown Square, PA, is seeking a full time Kitchen Operations Supervisor.
This role will be responsible for (but not limited to) hiring, scheduling, and supervision of all servers and utility staff, leads all staff in ensuring the sanitation tasks are completed before, during, and after each shift, and serve as a leader and mentor to all staff members in the department.
Dunwoody Village’s dining operation has been completely expanded and renovated to include two full kitchens, dish rooms, and dining rooms, all of which have state of the art equipment and furnishings for our residents, guests, and staff.
This job requires working varied shifts and includes participating in a holiday and weekend rotation.
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a dining-related supervisory role
• A strong desire to provide exceptional dining services to older adults
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in Department of Health regulations including temp logs, food storage, and cleanliness.
• Long term care experience strongly preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication skills as you will interact with residents, family members, and all levels of management
• Comfortable with interviewing potential new staff members
• RAMP and/or ServSafe certification strongly preferred
• Experience with point-of-service systems
