Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Technician to join our team and contribute to the day-to-day functions of our audiovisual office in alignment with established company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantling of audiovisual sets, ensuring the highest levels of client service, operational efficiency, and profitability.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist with Microsoft Teams and broadcasting/streaming activities.
• Effectively manage day-to-day operations following company procedures.
• Timely and accurate setup and strike of equipment for client functions.
• Continually enhance audiovisual skills and knowledge.
• Foster team knowledge and cohesion through collaborative learning.
• Provide and receive mentoring as needed.
• Maintain positive public relations with MS Stakeholders.
• Uphold positive employee relations, strong team-player orientation, and communication standards.
• Utilize the company's business software efficiently.
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and self-image.
• Plan effectively for upcoming tasks.
• Demonstrate organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Analyze problems and find effective solutions.
• Travel to different buildings across different cities to provide customized support.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

 

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of three year's experience in the AV industry.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with AV setups and strikes.
• Understanding of signal flows.
• Knowledge of Crestron systems, Biamp, and other in-room systems.
• Background in customer service or hospitality.
• Certification in AV technology or related courses (preferred).
• Intermediate knowledge of Audio and Video equipment.
• Video post-production knowledge and experience (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of PC and Mac software for streaming and webcasting (OBS studio, Atem software, etc.).
• Understanding of Microsoft Teams and streaming capabilities.
• Intermediate troubleshooting knowledge (signal flow, configurations, etc.).
• Assist with inventory control, transport, and logistics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to train and supervise junior team members.
• Specialization in all areas of Audiovisual support.

 

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work long hours on your feet.
• Consistent ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule (early AM & late PM).
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required to operate a Company vehicle.
