Job Description:
Responsible for selling company products and services to new and existing customers. Prepare customer proposals including financial pricing, specifications, and terms & conditions, with support of the Sales Leader. Works with Sales Leader & Internal Sales to prepare short- and long-range sales forecasts for assigned accounts and territories.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work collaboratively with the Sales Director to establish quarterly and yearly fiscal performance order and margin goals.
Learn how to identify new markets, products and adjacent service opportunities.
Create, cultivate, and maintain working relationships with a specific set of Customers to develop sales leads.
Manage own sales funnel health and shape. Manage own sales forecasting process, with the guidance of the Sales Director.
Responsible to coordinate the preparation of pricing, quotations, T&C, contracts. Work in close relationship with Internal Sales & Sales Director to make sure the contract is aligned with BW Converting solutions policies and goals. Negotiate terms and pricing on sales contracts asking for support whenever required.
Accountable for the timeliness and the quality of the quotations and orders.
Ensure customer satisfaction with excellent support, consultation, and presentation skills.
Coordinate sales efforts with other departments; ensure customer purchase and service requirements are being met.
Support pre- and post-installation seminars; work with field service personnel to resolve any installation problems.
Make periodic visits to customers.
Actively participate the Risk Review Process of the offer, making sure the risk assessment is shared, coordinated, and agreed with Sales Director upfront.
Manage sales commitments, budgets, and sales/marketing strategies agreed with the Sales Leader.
Study and monitor competitive activity and trends in the marketplace to fulfil customer/market needs.
Maintain reports, records, files, logs, etc., pertinent to function.
Maintain integrity of data in the customer relationship management (CRM/CPQ) database.
Participate in trade shows and expositions as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s degree in engineering-related field.
4 years’ demonstrated experience in sales / field sales/services, sales engineering, preferably in the same industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
High level understanding of industry trends, competitors, and vendor products
Demonstrated communication, organization, and time management skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Negotiating & Presentation Skills
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in computer software applications
The ability to work well in a team environment
Bilingual language skills are a plus
