Director, Indirect Procurement

Overview

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement to join the team!

 

Location: This position will be located at our corporate office in Franklin, TN

 

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Procurement, the Director, Indirect Procurement, is responsible for identifying and executing programs and initiatives to reduce the company's Total Cost of Ownership of Indirect goods and services. This role works closely with, and leads a team of professionals including Sourcing Managers, Analysts, and other technical and subject matter experts. A successful candidate will develop a team to become a customer focused, high performing service provider across sourcing support, contracts, buying, supplier screening and onboarding services. The Director of Indirect Procurement, is a dynamic and results-driven leader who will direct, develop, and implement the necessary functional and process competencies to plan, source, and purchase products and services. Key activities for this position include, developing category strategies, risk mitigation, market analysis, RFx development, negotiation, planning, competitive price and cost analysis, financial analysis, contract development and supplier management. We are looking for a passionate leader with a track record of performance.

 

Responsibilities

• Develops and supports the overall vision, strategy, and execution plan for Indirect Spend within the organization.
• Negotiate and execute master supply and service contracts and other critical agreements.
• Set priorities, remove obstacles for delivering on objectives, and ensure team is focused on providing value-added support that helps deliver strong financial performance
• Create and Support the long-term vision for Indirect Spend
• Champion process improvement initiatives across Acadia’s portfolio of businesses
• Maintain a high degree of communication, cooperation and coordination with facility leadership, staff, and user departments
• Lead a team that will assist/manage Procurement functions, vendor selection and contracting processes for Corporate departments.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain or Business strongly preferred
• Candidate will have at a minimum five (5) years of experience managing various RFx processes and negotiating product and service agreements
• Strong preference for candidates with sourcing experience in large healthcare organizations
• Ability to manage national sourcing initiatives and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery
• Knowledge of legal terminology and language related to supplier and/or vendor agreements
• Knowledge of the healthcare supply chain terminology
• Must have excellent presentation, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
