Senior Commercial Underwriter

JOB DESCRIPTION (Senior Commercial Underwriter - Contractor):

Newmark is seeing contract-based professionals to fulfill commercial loan underwriting roles.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, appraisals, and environmental reports, as well as other documents that are required in the loan decision process.
• Annual underwriting review of existing commercial loans, and/or third-party audit of portfolios.

SKILLS ANDEXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 5-years commercial loan underwriting that include C&I, as well as CRE loans.
• Preference given to prior professional due diligence experience surrounding commercial portfolio review and compliance efforts.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements

Salary: $50/hr. - $60/hr.
The hourly rate is between $50.00 and $60.00per hour, and the anticipated annual base compensation range for this position will be $104,000‬- $124,800 inclusive of required overtime
