The Solutions Architect is responsible for clearly communicating complex and technical product information as well as technical IT and networking information to a variety of customer stakeholders. In addition, they will serve as a technical expert for digital pathology hardware (scanners) and related software products. The Solutions Architect is also responsible for maintaining current knowledge of competition and market through study of competitive marketing information, competitive literature, and field surveillance of competition.
This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Digital Pathology team located in Central, US , and will be working remotely to cover Texas and Oklahoma.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory.
- Execute product demonstrations for clients at the correct sales stage in SFDC, maintaining a closed/won success rate of >60%.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of three years of medical imaging or devices sales and support experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM
- Minimum 1 year experience working with complex IT infrastructure in Healthcare settings.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – Travel overnight as necessary (estimated at 50%) for all pre- and post-sales activities, such as customer appointments, trade shows and customer training. Customer call activity will be a balance of existing customers accounts to expand our current base, meeting with active opportunities and prospecting for new opportunities in the assigned geography
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stand, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, bend, talk and hear.
