TITLE:                        Senior Full Stack Developer

LOCATION:               7265 Windsor Boulevard, Suite 106, Windsor Mill, MD 21244

DUTIES:

Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of meaningful, easy-to-use applications on enterprise-wide systems across all three tiers – data, application, and presentation; Collaborate with teams of infrastructure engineers and application/product teams in enabling RESTful data exchanges between products/systems using APIs in the AWS technical landscape; Implement visually appealing and intuitive product interfaces using a modern tech stack. Translate requirements and user stories into functionality interacting with cloud-based technologies including Snowflake, Databricks and Informatica DEI using the AWS platform; Develop automatic testing scripts to ensure product is of the highest quality; Build CI/CD pipelines utilizing AWS services with automated testing to deploy infrastructure to AWS using services including CloudFormation and Jenkins; Diagnose and resolve defects as reported by users, testers, or deployment processes; Produce documentation or web portals to guide development teams on proper user of API; Apply knowledge of usability testing and refactor front-end code to improve the user experience; Develop and maintain API specifications using Swagger. EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another closely related discipline within the Computer Science field. 5 years of experience working with Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate or JPA; performing querying using SQL and PostgreSQL; designing RESTful APIs for client-server communication; designing and building Microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Netflix, or Golang; implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms for back-end applications using Spring Security; performing UI development with HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (Angular or React); working with Spring Cloud Netflix Eureka and API Gateway; working in CI/CD process using Jenkins or Cloudbees; and providing production support including knowledge in log monitoring tools including Splunk or New Relic; of which,  3 years must include using GIT for code versioning and collaboration; and working with Agile project methodologies, including promoting iterative development; of which, 2 years must include working with Apache Kafka to perform the following tasks: optimizing configurations for performance and resource efficiency; monitoring cluster health, performance, and availability; and troubleshooting and resolving Kafka-related issues promptly; of which, 1 year must include working with Drools Engine for implementing business validations. Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Remote work option of up to 100%.

SALARY:

$178,963.00-$196,859.30 per year
