Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Household Care Support Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and mature caregiver to provide household support and assistance for an individual who needs help managing daily tasks and maintaining a safe, clean living environment. The home currently requires significant cleaning and organizational support, with the expectation that responsibilities will gradually decrease as the client transitions to a potential new apartment.
This position is ideal for someone who is patient, nonjudgmental, and willing to assist with tasks that may be physically demanding or involve a higher level of household cleaning than typical caregiving roles.
Location: Prairie Du Chein, WI
Compensation: $16.32/hour
Availability Needed: Flexible afternoon hours - UP TO 20HR/WEEK TO START!
Commitment: Reliability, understanding and clear communication are essential
Key Responsibilities
- Remove household trash
- Transport and assist with laundromat trips (no laundry facilities in the home)
- Pick up medications and assist with pharmacy errands
- Clean and sanitize the bathroom
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Clean out and organize the refrigerator
- Assist with grocery shopping and transportation (client may want to accompany caregiver)
- Provide general household organization and support
- Encourage and assist with maintaining a cleaner living environment
