We’re seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to be a leader on our Product Development team. Technical Program Managers are integral to the creation and maintenance of complex schedules, planning milestones, and making commitments to ensure the successful delivery of complex and large-scale customer systems. We're seeking an individual with experience leveraging a team-centric project management framework, governed by an Agile Scrum software Product Development Process (PDP).The right person is well-versed in Agile development methodologies and brings a host of tools to overcome common challenges of applying Agile principles to a multidisciplinary, fast-paced, and innovative company. They have scalable skills that produce predictable project outcomes and product performance while the portfolio of projects and the number of execution teams are expanding.
Our Technical Program Managers have demonstrated capabilities of organizing multiple workstreams to enable a team to focus on the right work, right now, and they use their experience in using disciplined change management, project portfolio management, and risk management strategies in everyday practice.

- Plan, execute and track the progress of Agile software development programs for large, complex software systems following the Alert software Product Development Process (PDP).
- Coordinate and synchronize multiple scrum teams to design, build, test, and release software, acting as Scrum Master for small programs and/or leading one or more Program Managers/Scrum Masters for complex programs.
- Lead cross-team and program-wide ceremonies and efforts, including scrum of scrums, release planning, sprint demonstrations, and resource planning.
- Work with Product Management, Systems Engineering, and Technical Leads to align software release feature sets with the product roadmap and business priorities.
- Monitor, assess, improve and communicate program performance to team members, peers, and leadership with a keen focus on scope, quality, schedule, and risk management.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone who is excited about managing software development programs using Agile Scrum and is even more excited at the opportunity to work at a company where expertise and passion can influence how projects are executed.
- 10+ years working in an Agile Scrum software environment, at least 5 years as Program Manager in a matrix organization with experience delivering complex software systems to enterprise customers.
- Willingness to learn and grow as well as share knowledge, experience mentoring, leading, and teaching Agile/project management skills.
- Possession of a comprehensive suite of tools applicable to common project challenges.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; able to build effective team relationships and efficiently mediate teams to achieve consensus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or equivalent formal training preferred.
- Expertise in Jira and Confluence preferred.
- Some exposure to Smartsheet or other project management tools is preferred
- B.S. degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent in training and experience
