We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in nuclear medicine procedures and PET CT imaging, ensuring the highest quality of care and safety for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including but not limited to PET CT scans, SPECT scans, and radionuclide therapies.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care and contribute to diagnostic evaluations.
  • Educate patients on procedures, addressing any concerns and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety regulations to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous education to stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine and imaging technologies.
Salary: $67.40-74.89/hour

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT).
  • California State licensure in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine and PET CT equipment.
  • Strong reading and writing skills for patient records and technical documents.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for diverse patient and team interactions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle heavy workloads.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with compassion for patients of all ages.
