Job Title: Lead Manager Communications & PR

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communications, PR strategies, and CSR programs that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
    • Analyze and confer expertise on tactical communication plans and maintain a high-level understanding of industry trends to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Write, edit, and oversee the publication of various communications materials, including articles, press releases, employee newsletters, social media content, brochures, and digital assets.
    • Make decisions on important PR stories, narratives, and content that reflect the company’s priorities, values, and position on key topics.
    • Manage the end-to-end social media strategy for Cricket Wireless.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, investors, and community members, to build strong relationships and gather feedback.
    • Advise executive leadership on DEI matters and PR & communications strategies.
  • Event and Crisis Communication Management:
    • Plan and coordinate communication efforts for company events such as trade shows and conferences.
    • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate negative publicity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate PR work and manage special projects as directed.
    • Develop community initiatives to enhance brand awareness and build relationships in distribution markets.
  • Media Relations and Reporting:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with media representatives, act as the company spokesperson, and handle media inquiries.
    • Provide counsel to senior managers and executives on media-related issues and speech writing.
    • Track and analyze the performance of communications and PR activities using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
    • Prepare regular reports to evaluate the impact of communication strategies and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Salary: Our Lead Manager Communications & PR earns between $105,600-$158,400 USD annually in Dallas, TX, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
