This internship will run from May 2024 – August 2024. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
Main Objective:
Support various campaigns and initiatives for the Corporate Communications team, with primary focus on content creation for Arthrex corporate and careers social media accounts, including content designed to highlight career opportunities and corporate culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Social media content creation and coordination.
- Assist with internal and external communications.
- Social media post scheduling.
- Assist with ongoing PR and recruiting projects.
- This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.
Education and Experience:
- Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising. A college junior, senior or recent graduate preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
- Experience with social media content creation, video editing and creative writing preferred.
- Writing copy experience for advertising/marketing campaigns preferred.
- Experience with enterprise social media platforms, such as Hootsuite, preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Basic to intermediate computer skills required. Be able to follow written and verbal direction required.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
