Staff SRE Solutions Architect 

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for working with cross-functional teams to manage the product development for RingCentral's integration products to support our innovative communications platform.

JOB DUTIES:
Job duties will include:

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and practices;

• Develop architectural design for multifunction system and its components;

• Work with teams to perform optimization techniques with the existing architecture;

• Research, test, and evaluate new technologies;

• Responsible for providing proof-of-concepts (POCs) and product implementation guidelines;

• Collaborate with and advise and mentor engineering teams;

• Build and architect high-load mission-critical systems at enterprise scale;

• Apply relational and non-relational database technologies such as Oracle and MongoDB.

EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus 10 years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or a related field plus 15 years of related experience is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

• Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Cassandra, VMWare, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, C++, Java, Go, and Python is required.
