About the role
As the Director, Product Management - Work Platform you will be the key decision maker that designs technical, service and content solutions to support Aledade’s various lines of business to identify, create, and deliver patient centric opportunities to various channels facilitating value based care.
This role works alongside business owners, data analysts, designers and engineers to define project goals, solution scope, implementation approach, and rollout plans and is the interface between strategic business owners and development and ensures that Aledade creates a high-quality product with the ability to scale and transform our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12+ years of experience in product management or process innovation roles
- 6+ years of related leadership experience
- Experience using data and primary research to inform solution design and build internal business understanding.
- Experience with and understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies. Preferably experience with Agile / Scrum teams.
- Product development experience in the context of the development of a healthcare technology product.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and building subject matter expertise.
- Knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets, including demographic, financial and clinical data.
- Basic understanding of healthcare administrative or clinical workflows for inpatient, ambulatory or ancillary services.
- Experience working with EHR, practice management, revenue cycle or population health products.
- Experience with clinical quality measurement and corresponding data sets.
- Knowledge of SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL experience.
- Knowledge of alternative payment models related to primary care such as MSSP ACOs, Pioneer ACOs, commercial insurance shared savings programs, PCMH.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Work with business teams to understand key cross-functional operational workflows, perform current state assessments, and identify gaps to address.
- Distill product strategies into actionable concepts, timelines, and projects, taking ownership to maintain continuous alignment with broader business objectives and goals
- Align vision with functional leads and executive leadership to gain buy-in and commitment.
- Build and maintain a product roadmap that develops short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration. Lead product forums with senior leaders in Product and Operations to gain buy-in, align plans, and make trade-off decisions between competing priorities.
- In collaboration with business stakeholders and technology partners, devise strategies to de-risk key workflows.
- Work with functional leaders from multiple operational teams to plan and execute rollout of new workflows to users. Assist business leaders with documentation, training, and other support to manage changes.
- Partner with engineering leaders on the data teams to drive changes to our data infrastructure to support operational workflows
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, product leads, and executive leadership. Lead regular Steering Committee meetings to keep the organization apprised of strategy, efforts, and progress against goals.
