What you will be doing

The Data Engineer Lead- MDM & Data Governance has the overall technology and solution leadership of MDM and DG platform and tools so that we can effectively roll out our MDM and DG solutions across our enterprise. This technology leader should be an expert in solutioning and delivering large scale MDM and DG solutions & one stop shop for all technology queries in this space

• Expertise in MDM technical architecture and data modeling. MDM thought leader with the ability to interact with both technical and executive stakeholders as needed.

• MDM technical leadership across multiple domains, multiple technical areas: matching/merging/survivorship, data cleansing, workflows, UI, etc.

• Lead internal technical resources and ability to drive product technology roadmap with product vendors in alignment with the enterprise’s roadmap

• Accountable for technical MDM & Data Governance solutions along with technical recommendations. 

• Ability to develop and deliver solutions either individually or as part of a development team

• Assists with evaluation and recommendations regarding purchased software packages and services

• Work with teams to build and deliver POC’s or pilots

• Provide technology consultations to IT leaders and team members

• Experience with data governance, data cleansing, and other data management areas

• Develops the architectural design for Master Data Management domain development, base object integration to other systems and general solutions as related to Master Data Management

• Performs architectural planning, MDM data modeling, proof-of-concept and development

• Act as a Solutions Architect around master data management and the concepts surrounding it, specifically with the usage of product stack

• Provide expertise around multiple areas of MDM implementations including Data Profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, reject processing and pre-landing processing

What your background should look like 

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or other related field or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of eight (8) years of professional IT data engineering experience

• At least five (5) years of experience with MDM tools and processes – preferably Informatica MDM or equivalent products

• Experience with multiple MDM Architecture styles (Registry, Consolidation, Co-Existence, Transactional)

• Should be experienced with cloud offerings in the MDM and DG space and be able to lay down the migration to cloud as needed

• 4-5 years of experience with ETL/MDM tools and processes within Informatica MDM 10.x versions including development skills in ETL with IICS/IDQ

• Multi-year experience in MDM concepts and their application, benefits and consequences if their introduction to enterprises

• At least five (5) years of experience with DG tools – preference Informatica DG tools or equivalent products

• Experience dealing with high scale, high performance technology solutions

• Must be comfortable presenting complex technology subjects to both technical and nontechnical audiences
